Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA in Morristown, Indiana, is seeking a Production Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day Protein Production activities on the assigned shift. You will partner with plant leadership to monitor productivity and ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a strong background in industrial or chemical engineering, 5+ years in related production settings, and the ability to work rotating shifts and weekends. The position emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial/manufacturing/chemical engineering or related field is required
• 5+ years in soybean processing, oil refining or related industrial operations
• Proficiency with basic computer skills including Lotus Notes and Word
• Ability to work odd hours, weekends and rotating shifts

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture and zero injuries on shift
• Support food safety culture and regulatory compliance
• Ensure sanitation standards and participate in inspections
• Monitor productivity metrics and operational improvements
• Review daily operating reports and KPIs for accuracy
• Troubleshoot and resolve production challenges to minimize downtime
• Assist planning for annual plant shutdowns and maintenance
• Support Process Safety Management (PSM) programs
• Collaborate with Safety/Environmental Manager on compliance
• Drive Operations Excellence and continuous improvement
• Lead and sustain CI initiatives across shift
• Participate in daily production and cross-functional meetings
• Assist with employee relations and investigations as needed
• Demonstrate company values: teamwork, integrity, accountability
• Perform additional duties to support objectives
