Ecovyst Hammond is seeking a Shift Breaker/Lead Operator for Ecoservices to supervise the safe, environmentally responsible production of sulfuric acid. You will monitor unit parameters and manage feed streams to produce multiple grades of sulfuric acid.

Responsibilities include LOTO, safety meetings, STOP WORK, procedure development, leak reporting, inspections, and adherence to CAR SEAL PROGRAM while maintaining permits.

Formación

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Demonstrated safe behavior and ability to follow procedures.
• Proven knowledge of pressures, process flows, and temperature.

Responsabilidades

• Perform LOTO for all unit maintenance items.
• Attend and contribute to regular monthly safety meetings.
• Implement STOP WORK POLICY as required.
• Review, follow, and in some cases write job procedures.
• Report and mitigate leaks, spills, or fugitive emissions.
• Perform equipment inspections and log findings.
• Maintain unit parameters per all permits.
• Work in 12-hour rotating shifts.
