NEXPERA in New Castle, DE is seeking a Chemical Operator to monitor and operate equipment in a sulfuric acid processing facility. The role emphasizes safety, SOP adherence, and process control across control room, lab, and field areas.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years in industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with MS Office and Google Suite; able to learn new systems.
• Willing to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs; able to work in a High Hazard environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor plant systems and equipment.
• Follow SOPs and safety procedures; respond to alarms.
• Perform basic maintenance and repair tasks.
• Load/unload materials; conduct lab analyses.
• Train new operators and document activity.
