Salt & Straw is expanding to Utah! We’re on the lookout for experienced Shift Coordinators to help launch our first Utah shops, create unforgettable guest experiences, and support Scoopers in delivering legendary hospitality. You’ll play a key role in bringing Salt & Straw to a new community, coaching team members, and making every guest interaction memorable.

Qualifications

• 6+ months (1+ year preferred) of food service, fast-casual, or hospitality experience.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Must be 18+ and available for evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide Scoopers throughout the shift, delegating tasks and ensuring breaks, station rotations, and safety habits are followed.
• Support daily operations: scooping, waffling, running the register, dishwashing, cleaning, and hosting.
• Deliver exceptional service, thoughtfully resolving guest concerns.
• Coordinate opening, closing, and daily shop tasks to maintain operational excellence.
• Assist in training, coaching, and modeling best practices for team members.
• Pack Third-Party Delivery orders with accuracy and attention to quality.
• Conduct inventory counts, monitor product quality, and maintain food safety standards.
