Job summary

Jimmy John's Sandwiches in Minnesota is seeking a Shift Leader to help run daily restaurant operations, coach team members, and ensure the Freaky Fast, friendly experience our customers expect. You’ll work alongside management to keep the shift moving smoothly and uphold food quality and cleanliness standards.

We offer paid training, health and dental insurance for full-time staff, and a $100 hiring bonus after completing our e-learning program and 30 days of work.

Qualifications

• Ability to work up to 40 hours per week.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Basic understanding of E-mail, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to handle fast-paced and high-stress situations in the store.
• Organized with strong aptitude in establishing priorities in the store with minimal supervision.
• Comfortable with delegating tasks and coaching staff including sandwich makers and delivery drivers/bikers.
• Ability to lift 30-40 lbs. regularly throughout shifts.
• Ability to stand, bend, reach and scoop through-out assigned shift.
• Ability to work a variety of daytime lunch, evening/night and weekend shifts.
• Ability to work in a variety of local locations a plus.

Responsibilities

Working alongside the management team, you'll oversee daily restaurant operations when the Assistant or General Manager is not on duty. You'll help motivate and coach team members, maintain high standards for food quality and customer service, keep the restaurant clean and organized, and ensure operations run efficiently. You'll also support restaurant profitability and execute Jimmy John's systems and procedures with 100% integrity. Previous restaurant or management experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right candidates who bring the right attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to grow.
