Job summary

Ultralife Corporation seeks a capable Lead/Maintenance Technician to support production operations and supervise staff on the 2nd shift. You will install, troubleshoot, and repair machinery, coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams, and drive safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes supervising personnel, ensuring production goals are met, and maintaining control systems and robotics in a high-demand setting.

Qualifications

• Associates of Science, Engineering Discipline or 5 years demonstrated ability in the field.
• Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of direct supervision of personnel is preferred.
• Experience with Allen-Bradley hardware, Rockwell RSLogix, Scara robots preferred.
• Ability to read mechanical and electrical blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Lead production goals and assign work to staff to meet targets.
• Promote lean initiatives and process improvements.
• Screen, interview and select production staff.
• Ensure safety and policy compliance across shifts.
• Train staff in manufacturing processes and SOPs.
• Collaborate with Materials, Engineering and QA to resolve issues.
• Maintain Quality Management System compliance.
• Set up, maintain and repair mechanical/electrical equipment.
• Manage preventive maintenance and documentation updates.
