Job summary

Insomnia Cookies, LLC is seeking a Shift Leader to run bakery operations, bake and package orders, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will coach the Cookie Crew, delegate tasks, and ensure smooth shift execution in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and strong guest service. Evening, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts are typical; willingness to work varied hours is required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in retail, restaurant, hospitality or customer-focused environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Must be 18+ and able to obtain required food safety certifications.
• Able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during shift to ensure great guest experience.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while delivering guest service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew members with direction and feedback.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to keep operations efficient.
• Maintain product quality, food safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
• Communicate updates and partner with store leadership for best bakery operation.
• Jump in wherever needed to help team succeed.
