G&W Electric Co in Illinois seeks a Team Lead II for the Central Warehouse to supervise a manufacturing crew, manage workflow, and ensure on-time production. You will read drawings, assign tasks, monitor quality and safety, and coordinate with Engineering for BOM discrepancies.

The role requires 4+ years in manufacturing, strong people skills, and experience guiding a diverse team in a fast-paced setting. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• 4+ years experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate activities within a diverse department.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and schematics.
• Intermediate MS Word and Excel; ERP experience desirable.
• Experience leading a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead manufacturing employees within an area of responsibility on a variety of processes and operations.
• Assign work and instruct operators on techniques, quality and safety procedures, and housekeeping requirements.
• Check and arrange for availability of materials, tools and fixtures.
• Perform a variety of direct labor tasks to maintain on-time production.
• Audit work to ensure quality procedures are followed and nothing leaves until requirements are met.
• Assist with evaluating team performance with the supervisor's support.
