Melt Ice Creams in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a Shift Lead to guide Scoop Shop operations, open and close the shop, and coach Scoopers to deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will ensure daily processes are followed, complete checklists, and maintain a positive, energetic team environment.

Ideal candidates have prior food service or retail experience, excellent verbal communication, and a self-driven, upbeat attitude.

• Past food service, retail, or customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a key holder to our Scoop Shop, opening and closing up to MELT standards.
• Follow daily processes to set the team up for success on shifts and subsequent shifts.
• Complete daily shift huddles, pre-shift briefings, and nightly shift recap entries.
• Coach team members and correct performance as needed to ensure MELT standards.
• Manage inventory counts and place orders through MarketMan as needed.
• Train new team members using MELT processes and Trainual.
• Lead by example and maintain high standards of service and product quality.
• Foster positive morale and collaboration among the team.
• Engage with customers and guide them through the menu, offering samples and recommendations.
