Five Guys in Sacramento is seeking a Shift Leader to guide operations on busy shifts, supervise crew, and ensure guest satisfaction. You’ll lead by example, work side-by-side with your team, and help deliver fast, accurate service on every order.

We’re looking for 1–2 years of restaurant or hospitality experience with leadership, strong communication, and basic math with POS familiarity. This role offers growth toward management in a fast-paced, energetic setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• A team-first mindset with strong communications skills.
• Someone who leads by doing—not just directing.
• Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and step in to run operations when management isn’t on site.
• Jump into every position—cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room—no task is too small.
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience every time.
• Coach, support, and motivate crew members to perform at their best.
• Help train new team members and build a strong, positive culture.
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards.
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports.
