Job summary

Panda Express at Denver International Airport is hiring a Full-Time Shift Lead. This role supports operations, oversees team members, and ensures guest satisfaction through proactive service, accurate cash handling, and adherence to food safety standards.

Open availability and weekend shifts are required. Six-week training is provided, with tip-pool participation and a pay differential depending on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 1-2 years customer service and supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain alcohol awareness and ServSafe Food Safety certification.
• Open availability and scheduling flexibility; weekend and holiday shifts may be required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive superior service through a friendly environment and established standards.
• Explain and upsell menu offerings and promotions to guests.
• Handle cash, process payments, and balance tills per procedures.
• Cook and store food at required temperatures; rotate products per standards.
• Assist management with daily operations and lead staff in the manager's absence.
• Open/close the unit, manage cash, inventory, stocking and appearance.
• Enforce policies, safety guidelines, and train associates to maintain standards.
• Ensure cleanliness and side-work completion; follow checklists.
• Maintain safe food handling and hygiene; report equipment issues.
