Job summary

Panda Express at Denver International Airport is seeking an Assistant Manager to oversee daily restaurant operations, including sales, labor, costs, and inventory. You will lead front- and back-of-house teams, ensure food quality and guest satisfaction, and drive safety and compliance across shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a technical school program, culinary program, restaurant management program, or company-sponsored leadership training is highly preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of restaurant, food service, or hospitality experience required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of supervisory, lead, or management experience in a restaurant or food service environment required.
• Demonstrated experience in team leadership, employee development, inventory management, cost control, and guest service.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations and monitor sales, labor, and costs.
• Lead both front-of-house and back-of-house to ensure guest service and operational excellence.
• Supervise and develop associates, assign duties, and ensure staffing and cleanliness.
• Maintain food quality and presentation per recipes and brand standards.
• Monitor inventory, assist with ordering and cost control, minimize waste.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, sanitation, and regulations.
• Maintain records for quality assurance, food safety, and loss prevention.
• Recruit, interview, onboard, and coach employees to build a strong team.
• Support performance management and provide coaching and feedback.
• Foster teamwork, accountability, and respectful workplace culture.
• Adhere to safe food handling and security procedures.
• Coordinate maintenance and facility inspections as needed.
• Stay aware of airport operations and guest demand to meet needs.
