Job summary

The Little Beet in New York is hiring for friendly, guest-focused team members who can handle fast-paced service with accuracy using Toast POS. You’ll learn pastry, bread, and beverage offerings while delivering great guest experiences and maintaining a clean, organized dining room and retail area.

We value teamwork, flexibility, and the ability to be cross-trained across dining room and retail operations. Applicants should enjoy a balanced restaurant environment and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast, a plus.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space preferred.
• Ability to speak, read, and understand the primary language(s) of the work location.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive food and beverage orders, enter into the POS, and coordinate with the kitchen.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, kitchen, beverage, and retail items.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily checklist.
• Keep restaurant areas clean and organized per cleaning checklists.
