Job summary

Le Pain Quotidien in Philadelphia is seeking hospitality team members to deliver warm, attentive service from start to finish. You will take orders, enter them accurately into the POS, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure guest satisfaction.

The role requires flexibility in scheduling, the ability to cross-train across dining and retail areas, and a willingness to maintain a clean, welcoming space for guests and teammates.

Qualifications

• 3 to 6 months of related restaurant experience or training.
• Experience with POS systems, especially Toast.
• Flexibility in schedule is highly preferred but not required.
• Ability to be cross-trained in all areas of the dining room and retail space.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly and attentive service to all guests throughout the visit.
• Receive food and beverage orders, input into the POS, and coordinate with the kitchen.
• Anticipate guest needs and note preferences.
• Maintain knowledge of pastry, bread, beverages, and retail items.
• Complete opening, mid, and closing procedures and daily checklists.
• Keep areas clean and organized and assist with setup and maintenance of outdoor seating.
