Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc is hiring to support store operations and customer service in a fast-paced setting. You will handle cash, assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions, and maintain a clean, safe retail environment.

The role includes backing up management, training new employees, and working to exceed store performance goals while adhering to company policies and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in several states.
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience.
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience.
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer’s requests and concerns
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store’s performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned; backup duties including daily/monthly paperwork, problems, reviews, inventory ordering, and training new employees
