Job summary
Murphy USA Inc. is hiring for part-time Shift Lead positions to empower team members and deliver fast, friendly service at our stores.
As a Shift Lead you will supervise cashiers, assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions, and help manage daily store operations. Previous cashier experience and reliable transportation are preferred, with opportunities for promotion from Shift Lead to Assistant Manager in as little as 6 months.
Qualifications
- Must be 18+ years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
- At least 3 months of cashier experience.
- Must have a valid driver\'s license and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities
- Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
- Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns.
- Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
- Operating cash register.
- Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
- Helping lead the team to exceed the store\'s performance goals and objectives.
- Performing job related duties as assigned.
- Backup duties in absence of management (e.g., paperwork, inventory, training).
