Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. is hiring part-time Shift Leads in Louisiana. You will deliver prompt, courteous customer service, assist with purchases and fuel, operate the cash register, ensure product availability, and maintain a safe, clean store environment.

You will support the Store Manager and help the team achieve performance goals. Qualified applicants are 18+ (state-specific ages), with a GED or high school diploma, cash handling experience, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50

Qualifications

• Age requirements vary by state (18+ minimum)
• High school diploma / GED, or 6 months related experience
• Minimum 3 months cashier experience
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Able to bend, stand, reach repeatedly; lift up to 50 pounds occasionally

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns
• Assist customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operate cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise are available for customers
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment
• Support Store Manager in all store operations
• Help lead the team to exceed store performance goals
• Perform other duties as assigned
• In absence of management, back up daily/monthly paperwork, resolve problems, review daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product counts, and equipment maintenance
