Job summary

Murphy USA is seeking part-time Shift Leads to support operations at Store 7714, Creswell Lane, Opelousas, LA. You will deliver prompt, courteous service, manage cash register duties, and ensure products and fuel are available while upholding a clean, safe store environment.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months in related roles, and 18+ years old. Opportunities exist to advance to Assistant Manager in as little as a few months.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old (19+ in some states)
• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, courteous customer experience
• Respond to and resolve customer requests and concerns
• Operate cash register and handle cash transactions
• Ensure fuel and merchandise are available for customers
• Maintain a clean and safe store environment
• Support Store Manager in all store operations
• Help lead the team to beat store performance goals
• Perform duties as assigned and back up management when needed
