Refuel Operating Company, LLC is seeking a Church’s Shift Lead to oversee shift operations, ensure food quality and safety, and lead by example. The on-duty restaurant leader will train, support, and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest service during evenings, weekends, and holidays.

The role emphasizes enforcing company policies, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding food safety standards while coordinating with management for continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail, food service, or customer service.
• Must be able to do basic math at the eighth-grade level.

Responsibilities

• Supervise shift operations to ensure prompt, friendly, and courteous guest service.
• Ensure all menu items are prepared and served according to standards.
• Assign, monitor, and support team members to ensure efficient workflow and accountability.
• Coach and train team members by demonstrating proper service and food preparation procedures.
• Assist team members during peak periods to maintain service speed and quality.
• Enforce safety, security, sanitation, and cash-handling policies.
• Perform opening and closing duties in accordance with Shift Awareness Checklists.
• Monitor food handling, storage, rotation, and icing procedures.
• Ensure team members arrive on time and are prepared for their shifts.
• Maintain professional, ethical leadership behaviors at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
