Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop in Murray, Utah is hiring a motivated Restaurant Shift Lead to guide daily operations and support our restaurant team.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading others, delivering outstanding customer service, and building a career in restaurant management, hospitality, or food service leadership.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant, food service, hospitality, or retail leadership preferred.
• Experience as a Shift Lead, Crew Leader, Team Lead, or Assistant Manager is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate team members in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Dependable, adaptable, and team-oriented mindset.
• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support team members during daily restaurant operations
• Delegate tasks and ensure all shift duties are completed efficiently
• Maintain Capriotti’s standards for food quality, speed of service, and cleanliness
• Provide excellent guest service and resolve customer concerns professionally
• Follow company policies for food safety, sanitation, and cash handling
• Assist with scheduling support, labor management, and inventory monitoring
• Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout kitchen and dining areas
• Support smooth shift transitions through clear communication with management
• Recognize and encourage team performance and positive contributions
• Promote a team culture built on respect, accountability, and professionalism
