Job summary

Nebraska Corn Processing, LLC is seeking a Lead Process Operator in Cambridge, NE. You will monitor plant operations, manage a 12-hour rotating shift, maintain production logs, and lead a team of on-shift operators to meet production and quality goals.

The role requires strong leadership, ability to troubleshoot, and adherence to safety and QA/QC procedures in a fast-paced ethanol production environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School or Equivalent; BA/BS in chemical, industrial or mechanical engineering or business administration, or a 4-year related degree preferred.
• Experience in ethanol operation or related field preferred (1–2 years).
• Knowledge of ethanol production process and technology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control plant operations to follow the operations plan.
• Maintain production logs and write shift reports.
• Lead shift operators and communicate with the team on shift.
• Participate in projects to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Enforce safety programs for shift operations.
• Coordinate with QC laboratory and support QA/QC program.
