Job summary

Due Cucina is seeking a Shift Lead for our Dallas location at 1900 Abrams Parkway, Dallas, TX 75214. You will lead the team during shifts, ensure food quality, customer service and safety, and perform both kitchen and front-of-house duties.

Qualifications

• Must have 2+ years kitchen management experience in a full-service, moderate to high-volume restaurant.
• Stand for 8 hours; lift up to 50 pounds; work in a fast-paced environment.
• Food Handler’s card within 7 days of hire.
• Alcohol Server Training Permit if working front of house.
• Must be at least 21 years old (if front of house).
• Spanish language ability a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate and uphold company core values.
• Lead the entire team during assigned shifts.
• Drive product quality, customer service, kitchen timelines, system adherence, and food safety.
• Be familiar with and able to perform both kitchen and front-of-house roles.
• Monitor food waste, ordering, and inventory levels.
• Monitor the store email and calendar for daily catering events.
• Support FOH team to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure adherence to standard recipes, portion sizes, and safety procedures.
• Resolve food quality or customer service issues in real time.
• Maintain a safe work environment and sanitation of kitchen and FOH areas.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures.
• Communicate shift updates or team feedback to management.
• Assist with training and onboarding new employees.
