Job summary

The Arc Western Montana in Missoula is seeking two Shift Leads to support adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Group Homes. You will guide peers, help keep homes running smoothly during evening and weekend shifts, and provide compassionate, dependable care.

Starting at $17/hour with pay raise to $19/hour after successful training; full-time 40 hours per week with a 3-11pm shift, paid training, and a supportive, mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• Direct Support Professional experience preferred but not required; caregiving or CNA experience is relevant.
• Valid driver’s license with at least 5 years of driving experience and clean record.
• Team player looking to advance into leadership.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support Clients with daily living activities like meals, hygiene, and medications.
• Model best practices for other staff and help maintain high-quality care.
• Assist with community outings, social events, and skill-building activities.
• Provide on-the-job training to DSPs in areas like vitals, oxygen use, medications, and engagement.
• Maintain accurate documentation and program data.
• Bridge communication between shifts to support continuity of care.
• Maintain a safe, clean, welcoming home environment for Clients.
