Job summary

Murphy Oil USA, Inc is hiring a part-time Shift Lead in Brunswick, GA. The role focuses on delivering prompt customer service, assisting with purchases and fuel transactions, and supporting store operations under the Store Manager.

Requirements include at least a high school diploma or GED (or 6 months related experience) and a minimum of 3 months cashier experience. The position requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED or 6 months related experience.
• Minimum 3 months of cashier experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Able to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be 18+ years old in most locations.

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience.
• Responding to and resolving customer requests and concerns.
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions.
• Operating cash register.
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers.
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations.
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives.
• Performing job related duties as assigned.
• In the absence of management provide backup duties including but not limited to completing daily/monthly paperwork, resolving problems, reviewing daily video, plan-o-gram compliance, inventory ordering, product count and equipment maintenance and training new employees.
