Job summary

Murphy USA Inc. in McKinney, TX is hiring part-time Shift Leads to provide friendly customer service, assist with purchases and fuel transactions, and help run day-to-day store operations.

You will backfill during peak hours, manage cash register duties, uphold safety and cleanliness standards, and collaborate with the Store Manager to meet performance goals. This role offers daily pay options and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma / GED, or at least 6 months of related job experience
• Requires minimum 3 months of Cashier experience
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Must be 18+ years of age, 19 in Indiana, 20 in Kentucky and 21 in several states
• Must be able to perform repeated bending, standing, and reaching
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

Responsibilities

• Providing prompt, efficient, and courteous customer experience
• Responding to and resolving customer's requests and concerns
• Assisting customers with purchases and fuel transactions
• Operating cash register
• Ensure fuel and merchandise is available for customers
• Maintaining a clean and safe environment
• Supporting the Store Manager in all store operations
• Helping lead the team to exceed the store's performance goals and objectives
• Performing job related duties as assigned, including backup duties in the absence of management
