Job summary

Chalice Brands in Tigard, OR is seeking a dependable Shift Lead to support daily operations at our Chalice dispensary. You will lead the floor in the absence of management, guide team members, and ensure outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, compliant cannabis retail environment.

This on-site, full-time role requires 21+ years, a high school diploma, effective communication, and the ability to lift up to 25 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently or lead a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Punctual, dependable, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Must have OLCC Marijuana Worker Permit to be considered for employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the store when the Manager or Assistant Manager is not present.
• Lead each shift by example.
• Remain flexible and assist at other store locations when needed.
• Delegate duties and assign tasks appropriately.
• Ensure sales goals are met and exceeded.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
• Ensure all local and state cannabis regulations are followed.
• Perform all POS duties.
• Oversee both front-of-house and back-of-house functions.
• Communicate effectively with team members and leadership.
• Manage opening and closing procedures.
• Coordinate with the Corporate Office as necessary.
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
