Job summary

Gopuff is seeking a Shift Supervisor for our Starbucks Operations team in Tempe, AZ. You will report to the Site Leader and help execute store operations during shifts, deploying baristas and guiding the team to deliver the Starbucks Experience with efficiency and accuracy.

You will build positive relationships, manage opening/closing duties, and maintain attendance and coaching to drive performance while ensuring adherence to recipes, safety standards, and company values.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, military, restaurant or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of leadership in a cafe preferred.
• ServeSafe Certification highly preferred.
• Starbucks or other fast-paced cafe experience preferred.
• Ability to work with fluid schedules.
• Welcoming and helpful attitude toward new team members.
• Learn and adapt to current technology needs.
• Work both independently and with a team.
• Focus on quality and take pride in your work.
• Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes.

Responsibilities

• Act with integrity, honesty and alignment to Starbucks and Gopuff culture.
• Maintain calm demeanor during high volume or unusual events.
• Anticipate customer and store needs by evaluating the environment.
• Communicate information to manager for shift planning.
• Assist with new employee training and provide coaching.
• Provide feedback on employee performance during shifts.
• Create a positive learning environment with clear guidance to baristas.
• Execute store operations during scheduled shifts and open/close duties.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Ensure quality beverages, whole bean and food items per standards.
• Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Work hours may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, or holidays.
