Job summary

LV Petroleum in Alberta is seeking a Shift Lead to help oversee daily food service operations, lead team members on assigned shifts, and ensure high-quality service in a fast-paced environment. You will coach staff, monitor performance, and train new hires on procedures, guest service, and safety standards.

The role focuses on delivering excellent guest experiences, accurate order preparation, proper cash handling, and maintaining cleanliness and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience in food service or retail preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support team members throughout assigned shifts.

Position Overview

Team Leadership & Development

Additional Responsibilities

• Support promotions, operational initiatives, and company goals
• Assist during busy periods to maintain efficient service and team productivity
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management

Qualifications

• Previous food service, restaurant, retail, or customer service experience preferred
• Leadership or supervisory experience is a plus
• Strong communication, teamwork, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Basic understanding of food safety and operational procedures
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude

Education & Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight when necessary
