Job summary

Five Guys in the United States (Panama City, FL) is seeking a Shift Leader to guide operations during each shift and to work side-by-side with the crew to deliver outstanding guest experiences.

You will lead by example, coach teammates, and ensure fast, accurate service while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety in a busy kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred)
• Team-first mindset with strong communication
• Leads by doing, not just directing
• Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems

Responsibilities

• Lead the shift and run operations when management isn’t on site
• Participate in every station: cashier, grill, prep, fries, dining room
• Deliver fast, accurate service and create a great guest experience
• Coach and motivate crew to perform at their best
• Help train new team members and build a positive culture
• Keep the restaurant clean, safe, and up to brand standards
• Manage shift tasks like breaks, cash handling, and closing reports
