Job summary

Five Guys Norfolk is seeking a hands-on Shift Leader to run daily operations, coach crew, and deliver fast, friendly service that keeps guests coming back.

You’ll step into cashier, grill, prep, and dining room roles, uphold brand standards, manage breaks and cash handling, and help train new team members to build a strong, positive culture in a fast-paced kitchen.

Strong communication, teamwork, and calm decision-making in a busy environment are essential.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of restaurant, retail, or hospitality experience (leadership preferred).
• A team-first mindset with strong communication skills.
• Someone who leads by doing—not just directing.
• Ability to stay cool and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic math and comfort using POS systems.
