• Experience in food service, retail, or coffee leadership is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Act as Manager on Duty, directing workflow and baristas.
• Train and support new hires to build confidence on the floor.
• Manage cash drawers, openings/closings, and policy procedures.
• Greet guests with warmth and maintain fast service.
• Keep drive-thru moving quickly while ensuring quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and restock as needed.
• Perform other tasks to promote Scooter's Coffee.

THE DAY-TO-DAY

As a Scooter's Shift Lead, you are the heartbeat of our daily operations. You will:

• Act as the Manager on Duty during designated shifts, directing workflow and deploying baristas to optimize speed and service.
• Help train, coach, and support our new hires to ensure they feel confident on the floor.
• Manage cash drawers, handle voids/refunds, and execute proper opening or closing procedures.
• Lead by example: Greet every guest with warmth, enthusiasm, and genuine appreciation.
• Keep our drive-thru moving Amazingly fast while maintaining top-tier quality and recipe standards.
• Ensure a clean, sparkling workspace and restock efficiently during shift lulls.
• Complete other tasks as assigned that promote Scooter's Coffee.

STORE HOURS AND AVAILABILITY

We are a brand new store! We are looking for Shift Leads that can work a variety of shifts to ensure our store has leadership coverage at all times. This includes morning, mid-day, evening, and/or weekend shifts.

• Monday – Saturday: 4:15 AM to 9:30 PM
• Sunday: 5:00 AM to 9:00 PM

COMPENSATION & PERKS

We want you to grow with us! Start with transparent pay and great perks, with clear opportunities for raises and promotions as you learn the coffee business.

• Base Pay: $11.00 – $13.00 / hr (depending on experience)
• Plus Tips: Our baristas average an additional $3.00 – $4.00 / hr in tips
• Effective Take-Home Pay: ~$15.00 – $17.00 / hr
• Free Speciality Drink: One free specialty drink per full shift.
• Discounts Off-Shift: 50% off food and drink.
