Job summary

Scooter's Coffee in Grand Rapids is seeking a Shift Lead to manage the flow of a busy drive-thru, coach teammates in real time, and help new team members build confidence.

You’ll lead by example, drive speed and quality, and contribute to a culture where teammates feel valued and excited to grow.

Responsibilities

• Running the shift and keeping everything flowing smoothly
• Coaching baristas in real time (without making it weird)
• Helping new team members grow their confidence and skills
• Giving feedback, celebrating wins, and holding the standards
• Supporting speed, quality, and customer experience
• Completing prep work and operational tasks
• Managing cleaning and daily checklists
• Jumping in wherever needed when the rush gets absolutely unhinged (lol)
• Leading by example every single shift
