Base Pay Range

$17.00/hr - $20.00/hr

Responsibilities
  • Open and close the store in the absence of store management, including all required systems start‑ups, cash handling, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Responsible for opening the back door for deliveries.
  • Complete product returns, order voids, customer refunds, cash drops to the safe, and provide change as requested to cash registers.
  • Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
  • Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive experience.
  • Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.
  • Hold store keys and assist with vendor ordering, order exceptions, and reverse logistics.
  • Register all related sales on assigned cash register, including records of scanning errors, price verifications, items not on file, price modifications, and voids.
  • Assist in evaluating and developing displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise. Complete resets and revisions.
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts across departments, stockroom, and overstock locations.
  • Ensure the Outdate program is followed and assist with food item separation and stock rotation.
  • Basic department pricing, daily price changes, and signage accuracy.
  • Assist with bookkeeping activities such as cash reports, counts, ledgers, and bill payments.
  • Maintain store condition through exterior and interior maintenance, request repairs as needed.
  • Assist in separating food items and product placement per policies, use FIFO method for consumables.
  • Knowledge of store systems and equipment.
  • Assist at Pharmacy out window as requested.
  • Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
  • Check bags of team members before leaving the store.
  • Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful coworker relationships.
  • Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.
Training & Personal Development
  • Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager.
Communications
  • Serve as liaison between management and non‑management team members.
  • Report disciplinary issues and customer complaints to management.
Basic Qualifications
  • One year of prior leadership, supervisory, or retail key holder work experience.
  • Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. (Except in Puerto Rico)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of store inventory control.
  • Will consider employment of qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
  • Obtain and maintain valid PTCB certification or pharmacy license as required by state.
