Job summary

Exos is seeking a on-site fitness center supervisor in New York to lead emergency responses and ensure top-tier member service. You will perform multiple rounds of the facility, supervise staff, and enforce safety and access guidelines while assisting members with equipment usage and tours.

The role emphasizes keeping the facility clean, safe, and welcoming, with opportunities to contribute to a holistic readiness approach for clients and corporate teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Prior supervisory experience is a plus.
• CPR, First Aid & AED certification, or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Take the lead in responding to emergencies and follow established procedures.
• Consistently provide personalized member service with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Conduct multiple rounds of the facility during shift and oversee safety.
• Follow Manager On Duty tasks during rounds.
• Identify and remedy unsafe conditions.
• Give tours to prospective or new members.
• Enforce age and training restrictions in restricted areas.
• Restock locker rooms and common areas as needed.
• Be familiar with equipment operation and assist members if no trainer is present.
• Know how to locate and use first aid supplies and AED units.
• Monitor team member activity.
• Other duties as needed.

• During rounds, follow the Manager On Duty tasks

• Refill and restock items in the locker room and common areas as needed
• Be familiar with the proper use of all equipment—cardio, strength, and free weights. If no trainer is present it is your responsibility to assist members
• Know the location of and proper use of first aid supplies and AED units
• Monitor team member activity
• Other duties as needed
