Job summary

Cookie Society Southlake LLC is seeking a Shift Lead to help create a delightful experience for our bakery guests. You will bake and package cookies, assist customers at the counter, and keep the kitchen clean and safe, with thorough training provided.

This role welcomes weekend and weekday shifts, requires a Food Manager Certificate, and offers a team-focused environment with opportunities to grow as the bakery expands in Texas.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Availability: Flexible, including weekends. Must be 18 or older to apply for this role.

Hourly Rate: $13-14/hour base pay + tips* (Approximately $2-3 per hour in tips)

Shifts: Weekday and Weekend Shifts Available

Responsibilities:

As a Shift Lead at our bakery, you will be entrusted with important responsibilities that keep our operations running smoothly. You'll serve as a point of contact during your shifts, ensuring the bakery's success and maintaining a positive experience for customers and fellow team members alike.

Physical Requirements:

You’ll need to be physically capable of:

• Occasionally lifting and carrying items weighing up to 50 lbs (flour, sugar, etc.).


• Standing, squatting, bending, twisting, reaching, walking, and leaning throughout your shift.


• Repetitive motion of wrists/arms during baking tasks.


• Maneuvering quickly in a confined space around hot ovens.


• Taking visual and audible cues for efficient operations.
