Relogistics Services is seeking a Shift Lead in Shippensburg, PA 17257 to oversee a small team and maximize shift productivity while upholding strict safety standards.

The role pays $21.00/hour with 2nd and 3rd shift rotations. You will coordinate schedules, support recruitment, ensure policy adherence, handle materials, and assist forklift operations on site.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
• Forklift certification required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift schedules with On-Site Manager to maximize service.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Enforce safety policies and HR guidelines.
• Order, stock, and maintain supplies; arrange equipment maintenance.
• Assist forklift operations as needed.
• Track movements and ensure accurate forms.
• Support employee relations locally with the OSM.
• Load/unload materials and move to staging areas.
• Ensure loads are secure and equipment checks are completed.
• Inspect products for quality conformance.
• Perform basic data entry.

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highest safety standards.

Hourly Pay

$21.00/hr

Shift(s)

2nd Shift: Monday - Thursday 4:30pm - 2:30am (schedule will rotate biweekly)

3rd Shift: Thursday - Sunday 4:30pm - 2:30am (schedule will rotate biweekly)

What You’ll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths
• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
