Job summary

Relogistics in Arcadia, FL is seeking a Shift Lead to maximize team productivity during a 3rd shift (Sat-Mon, 5:00am-5:00pm). Hourly pay ranges from $17.00 to $18.00.

The role involves supervising staff, ensuring safety, and coordinating with the On-Site Manager to optimize shift schedules. Qualifications include 1 year of supervisor experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and forklift certification.

• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements on proper forms in a timely manner.
• Assist in managing employee relations with OSM.
• Check loads are secure and equipment checks are performed.
• Examine products for quality conformance.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$17.0-18.00/hr.

Shift(s):

3rd Shift: Saturday-Monday 5:00am-5:00pm

What You’ll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What You’ll Need

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• Forklift certification

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
