Rite of Passage is seeking a Residential Leader for Uta Halee Academy in Omaha, Nebraska. You will oversee safety, care, and around-the-clock supervision of students by guiding Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors, and Night Coach Counselors.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Human Services or related field, 2+ years with at-risk youth, and a valid driving license. It offers a growth-focused career in a mission-driven environment with competitive benefits.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field.
• At least 2 years of experience working directly with at-risk youth.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the Child Abuse Central Registry.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Internal applicants must have been employed by Rite of Passage for 1 year and have no less than standard performance/no corrective disciplinary actions within the past 6 months.
• External applicants must have at least 1 year of supervisory experience as a full-time employee (or 2,080 hours of supervisory experience) with at-risk youth in a residential home, juvenile detention, or treatment facility setting.
• Schedule: B shift with 3.5 days on and 3.5 days off; Wed 2 p.m. - 10 p.m., Thu-Sat (hours vary between 10 a.m.–10 p.m. and 8 a.m.–8 p.m).

Uta Halee Academy (UHA) is a female-specific, residential program that offers young women opportunities to build productive and meaningful futures for themselves and their communities. Pay : Starting at $50,000/annually (pay starts at this rate for individuals with a Bachelor's degree and 2 years of experience with at-risk youth)

What you will do: As Shift Leader, you will be operationally responsible for the safety, care, and around-the-clock supervision of students in the program, through the work performed by Senior Coach Counselors, Coach Counselors, and Night Coach Counselors. The supervisory duties may also include participation in decisions to evaluate performance, reward or discipline other employees, or responsibility to direct them. The Shift Lead exercises his/her authority daily by directing both students and staff to meet service expectations. This role involves providing direct care hours to at-risk youth, creating a supportive environment that addresses their needs.

To be considered, you should:

• Have a Bachelor's degree in a Human Services or related field (for example, Criminal Justice, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Family Studies, and/or Human Development).
• Have at least 2 years of experience working directly with at risk-youth in a residential home, juvenile detention, or treatment facility setting.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
• Be able to pass a search of the Child Abuse Central Registry.
• Have a valid driver's license.
