Job summary

America's Pizza Company, LLC is seeking a Shift Lead to assist the Restaurant General Manager in daily operations, ensuring quality and customer service across assigned shifts.

Qualifications

• Minimum six months experience in a restaurant, hospitality or retail environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Team lead experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager with the responsibility and management of all associates during assigned shifts.
• Ensure food, beverage and service quality meet or exceed standards.
• Monitor all service equipment.
• Perform opening and/or closing duties.
• Train and motivate fellow associates.
• Anticipate customer needs and address concerns.
• Assist with deposits, labor scheduling and financials for the store with manager approval.
• Maintain a safe working and customer environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies.
• Contribute to a positive team environment through attitude and example.

Summary

The Shift Lead supports the Restaurant General Manager and Store Assistant General Manager in their efforts to oversee all the restaurant operations. The Shift Lead assists in management activities including ensuring excellence in both product quality and customer service and overall supervision, during assigned shifts.

Essential Job Functions

• Support the Restaurant General Manager with the responsibility and management of all associates during assigned shifts
• Ensures food, beverage and service quality meet or exceed standards

• Performing closing and/or opening duties

• Anticipating customer needs and addressing customer concerns
• Performing any or all of the following duties, as directed by the Restaurant General Manager: preparing/transporting deposits, assisting with labor scheduling and product projections and financials for the store with manager approval.

Succession Planning

• This position is designed to be a developmental role for those associates desiring a position as Store Assistant General Manager in the future. This position provides the Shift Lead with the opportunity to develop the skills needed for promotion.

Required Education And Experience

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Has a minimum of six (6) months experience in a restaurant, hospitality or retail environment, preferably with "team lead" experience
