Job summary

Big Dan's Car Wash is hiring a Shift Lead in Georgia to support daily operations, supervise team members, and drive membership sales. This role centers on leading a fast-paced, customer-facing environment while maintaining high standards of service and operations.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, strong customer service skills, and the ability to educate customers about the membership program. Base pay is $18/hour with $3 commission per membership sold.

Responsibilities

• Lead assigned shifts when Operating Partner/General Manager are unavailable.
• Help drive membership sales at the pay station and meet sales targets.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and friendly guest experience on every visit.
• Train and motivate staff, follow systems, and maintain a professional appearance.

The Shift Lead supports the Operating Partner and General Manager in daily operations, team leadership, and sales performance. This is a hands‑on leadership role in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment with a strong emphasis on membership sales, customer engagement, and operational excellence. The Shift Lead is the designated key holder and leader for assigned shifts in the absence of the Operating Partner and the General Manager.

This role goes beyond standard customer service responsibilities. While ensuring a safe, clean, and friendly experience for every guest remains essential, the primary focus of this position is selling monthly wash memberships at the pay station. We are looking for someone who is comfortable starting conversations, educating customers on the value of our membership program, and confidently closing the sale. If you naturally enjoy talking with people and have a knack for selling, this could be a great fit.

The base pay is $18 per hour, with an additional $3 commission for every membership sold, creating strong earning potential for someone motivated and sales‑driven.
