Idaho Pacific Holdings seeks a Lab Tech to test packaging line samples using chemical and physical tests, recording results, and determining if results meet specifications. The technician will flag out-of-spec products and coordinate with QA to ensure quality control on the line.
The role requires following instructions, good record-keeping, English communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with rotating shifts and overtime as needed.
Test the packaging line samples using simple chemical tests and physical tests and calculations required to obtain test results. Records results of testing completed and determine whether results are within specification limits. Contacts appropriate personnel if product is out of grade and rejects out of grade products.

Lab technicians are required to undergo a 120-hour(minimum) training program with a trained lab technician specified by the QA supervisor or manager. The lab tech must demonstrate tests of their competency in performing testing procedures and other skills. Lab technicians are only
qualified to perform those testing procedures in which they have been formally trained. The QA supervisor or manager are required to verify the competency of the lab technician on a schedule.
