Job summary

MSA Safety is seeking a Group Leader for the Injection Molding department at our Murrysville, PA facility. This 3rd shift role starts at $28.60 per hour and requires coordinating production, leading a team, and ensuring schedules are met.

Responsibilities include supporting production, setting up jobs, and maintaining material flows while collaborating with supervisors and the supply chain to resolve issues and maintain quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• Minimum 2 years production/manufacturing experience.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds infrequently.
• Plan, schedule, coordinate work and organize daily activities.
• Act independently with initiative and follow through.
• Willingness to work overtime and other shifts.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrate leadership to promote teamwork and meet metrics.

Responsibilities

• Supports production associates with material handling and setup tasks.
• Performs manufacturing operations as needed.
• Collaborates with Production Supervisor and Supply Chain to set priorities.
• Creates and maintains assigned job schedules.
• Communicates parts shortages and equipment issues for resolution.
• Coordinates work activities to ensure high productivity within the department.
• Monitors flow of materials and paperwork to conform to schedules.
• Maintains supplies and supports non-production areas as needed.
