Job summary

Hyatt Regency Dallas is seeking a Shift Engineer to join our skilled Engineering team. You will perform general maintenance and repairs across guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front/back of house areas, supporting hotel operations.

The role emphasizes preventive maintenance on major equipment using a Windows-based system, with weekend and holiday availability required.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Minimum of 3 years building maintenance experience; hotel experience preferred.
• Must be familiar with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics; basic troubleshooting skills.
• Flexibility to work any days of the week, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest rooms, meeting spaces, and front of house areas.
• Back of house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems maintenance.
• Conduct preventive maintenance on major equipment using a Windows-based computer system.

Join us for this incredible opportunity at Hyatt Regency Dallas, which is located downtown next to the iconic Reunion Tower. The Shift Engineer will be responsible primarily for general maintenance and repairs in guest room, meeting space, and front of the house areas, as well as back of the house areas including kitchen, laundry, electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. The Shift Engineer will also perform preventive maintenance on major equipment and systems by using a windows-based computer system.
