Position: Shift Station Manager

Location: Tampico, Tamaulipas, MX

Amazon is one of the most recognizable brand names globally, distributing millions of products annually to our loyal customers. The key focus areas for this role are safety, service quality, customer experience, and department productivity.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Review operational forecasts to determine productivity requirements for sort operations and manage a team to meet all goals.
  2. Support safety programs to ensure a safe work environment for all associates and delivery service providers.
  3. Identify and lead process improvement initiatives using Lean tools.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

You will manage the day-to-day operations of the delivery station, overseeing the delivery of Amazon orders directly to customers. This includes leading a team of Process Assistants and Delivery Service Providers, conducting meetings and training, assigning duties, and communicating effectively with all stakeholders.

You are responsible for maintaining a safe workplace, ensuring proper training, and addressing the needs of your team to enable optimal performance. Leading change quickly and innovatively is a vital part of this role.

Operational Support:
  • Receive, scan, lift, and move shipments up to 25 kg.
  • Route shipments within the AMZL coverage area.
  • Support and assign duties to process assistants.
  • Adapt to operational changes and growth.
  • Monitor sorting operations and driver dispatch.
  • Stand and walk approximately 5 miles daily.
  • Work in construction/distribution environments that may be noisy, unlit, unheated, or not air-conditioned.
Qualifications:
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years Amazon experience.
  • 2+ years of direct management experience.
  • 2+ years of experience with performance metrics and process improvement.
  • Fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • 1+ years of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
