Job summary

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience

• The successful candidate is expected to develop proficiency in SAP as part of their role. Prior experience is not required, but a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and become proficient in SAP is essential.
• Physical ability to pass physical requirements exam for vision, hearing, and mobility

Responsibilities

• Operate motorized material handling equipment such as an overhead crane, side loader, and forklift
• When short-handed or during periods of high demand, leadership is responsible for filling in where needed
• Train staff to ensure they are fully trained for the tasks they are performing; coach, mentor, counsel, and develop
• Lead pre-shift safety and production huddles with the team
• Ensure corrective actions are carried out to eliminate workplace hazards
• Respond to machinery breakdowns by directing repairs or arranging outside repairs or reassignment of personnel
• Assume short-term responsibility for management absences as requested
• All other duties as assigned or may change at any time with or without notice
