Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Hesston, KS is hiring a Robot Welding Part Loader for the 1st shift (6:30am–2:30pm). You’ll work on a robotic welding line, assemble units, and follow standard build processes to ensure safety, quality and on-time delivery. A high school diploma and ability to follow safety procedures are required.

You’ll use grinders and hand tools, control the robot, and read blueprints. The company offers medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock purchase plan, paid time off and tuition

Qualifications

• High School / GED diploma preferred (required to maintain the pre-treatment system only)
• Ability to comply with safety standards (full body Tivex suits, air purifying respirator)
• Technical ability to upscale issues when identified
• Able to follow standard work as trained by a supervisor or OpEx lead

Responsibilities

• Assemble/fit together parts to form complete units or sub-assemblies in a robot fixture
• Use various hand tools such as grinders, scrapers, or other types of finishing tools to ensure quality product
• Control operation of robot, cleaning and inspection.
• Read and understand operation standard, as needed, such as blueprint
• Manual movement and lifting by clamping parts together by hand and/or using hand tools
