The Role

The Alarm Service Department Technician plays a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of residential and commercial clients by installing, maintaining, and repairing alarm systems. This position requires a thorough understanding of alarm technologies and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. The technician will work closely with customers to assess their security needs and provide tailored solutions that meet industry standards. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to deliver reliable and high-quality service. What You'll Do

• Install, test, and maintain alarm systems including burglar alarms, fire alarms, and access control systems at client locations.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions in alarm equipment and related hardware promptly to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and compliance with safety regulations.
• Provide clear and professional communication to customers regarding system operation, maintenance schedules, and any necessary repairs or upgrades.
• Document all service activities accurately in company systems and report any recurring issues or potential improvements to management.
