The Weld County jail is seeking a Control Center Technician to monitor CCTV and electronic devices, ensuring authorized entry and overall security of inmates, staff and visitors.
The position requires rotating 12‑hour shifts (6am and 6pm) with a 40‑hour work week and a yearly bid to set day or night schedules. Pre‑employment screening includes interview, background check, polygraph, drug screen and ErgoMed.
Compensation Range $35.04 - $44.38
A Control Center Technician is a civilian security unit position trained to competently monitor and operate CCTV and electronic devices; providing entry and exit of authorized personnel through secure doors within the jail. This assignment requires rotating shifts in order to maintain jail functions 24 hours a day, seven (7) days a week.
Work Schedule: 40 hours per week. Monday-Wednesday or Wednesday-Friday rotating every other weekend. 12 hour day 6am and 6pm start times. Day or Nights schedule determined by a yearly bid. Training will take place on day shift.

This position is non‑exempt from the minimum wage and overtime requirements of the Fair Labor Standards Act and is therefore eligible for overtime pay.
