Job summary

Sheraton Grand Nashville Downtown is seeking a Cook to join Aimbridge Hospitality, LLC. You will prepare and supervise food for room service, leading kitchen activities and ensuring dishes meet high standards in taste and presentation.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of relevant experience, a Food Handlers Certification, and the ability to work under pressure while communicating clearly with teammates and guests. Competitive benefits apply after a waiting period.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
• Food Handlers Certification required.
• Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while quickly evaluating situations and determining best action.
• Strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns from coworkers and guests.

• Clear Communicator: Share information effectively and address concerns from co-workers and guests with professionalism and clarity.
• Organization Operator: Keep the kitchen spotless and well-organized, always meeting sanitation and safety standards.
• Proactive Performer: Take initiative by anticipating needs and acting before issues arise, keeping service seamless.

• A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns raised by coworkers and guests, and effectively conveys ideas and solutions
