Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Education in social services or substance abuse is preferred.
• Experience in informal mental health/substance abuse evaluation is desirable.
• Candidate must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the shelter monitors on the shift.
• Ensure proper intakes, space for guests, meals, lights out, and facility cleanliness.
• Maintain shift documentation including population stats and incident reports.
• Coordinate monitors and orient new staff on shift.
• Oversee cleaning and sanitizing of dorms, bathrooms, kitchens and sleeping areas.
